This is the true story of a little hispanic girl who was kidnapped on June 21, 1988. The girl was born on August 21, 1986 in Cucuta, Colombia South America. She was a beautiful toddler with dark hair and brown eyes with very hispanic features.  She is still missing as this letter is being written in January 2005.  Her parents will always attempt to locate their sweet innocent daughter. This precious life will never be forgotten and as long as she has family we will always look for her.

The nanny of the parents conspired with other employees of the family in the abduction of Vivian Paola.  On June 21, 1988 the nanny took the girl to a park in Cucuta and then disappeared with her. The kidnappers wanted a ransom from the parents but the Cucuta Police were called and most of the persons involved in the abduction were sent to prison for only three years. Some never served a day in prison and to this day are free. They always stated that they abandoned the girl on mountainous road, the road  that leads to the town of El  Zulia, Colombia. This may very well be a lie! Vivian Paola was exactly 22 months old at the time of her abduction. The parents have been grieving for many years trying to find their precious daughter.  One of the kidnappers stated to the girl's father that he, the father took the girl to Colorado United States through Panama.  This could be a lie also, but we must follow all leads good and bad. Our family is doing everything possible to locate our missing family member. Our desire to bring her home to her natural parents.
